"Marcia su Roma" (28 Ottobre 28 1922) CercaDefinizione
On October 28, 1922, Fascists from all over Italy gathered in Rome to demand seizure of power. Unwilling to risk a civil war, King Victor Emmanuel II appointed Benito Mussolini prime minister on October 31. The march then turned into a parade celebrating the recognition of the Fascist Party as head of the Italian government. (en-US)
