Nansen Help was founded by Odd Nansen as a rescue and aid organization in Norway in 1937. Nansen was the son of Fridtjof Nansen, explorer and humanitarian, who had previously founded the Nansen International Office for Refugees. When the Nansen Office's mandate expired, Odd Nansen established Nansen Help to continue his father's work in helping refugees. (en-US)
