Roveda, Giovanni CercaDefinizione
Giovanni Roveda (1894-1962) was a resistance fighter and Communist in Italy after the armistice of September 1943. Before the war, Roveda was a member of the PCI (Italian Communist Party), labor organizer, and head of the Chamber of Labor in Turin. In December 1943, he was arrested by the Koch Band and was rescued by other members of the resistance from the Scalzi prison in Verona. (en-US)
