Vincenzo Moscatelli (nicknamed Cino) was a resistance fighter in the Brigate Garibaldi in Italy during the war. From Novara in the Piedmont region, Moscatelli joined the Communist Party in Italy before the war and was trained as a mechanic. In 1931, he participated in Communist demonstrations that were held in the Romagna region and was arrested and imprisoned. From 1943 to 1945, he was a resistance leader in the Communist-oriented Brigate Garibaldi and eventually commanded a force of 3, 600 in the Piedmont. After the war Moscatelli served in the Senate.
