Koch, Pietro CercaDefinizione
Pietro Koch led the Banda Koch in Rome and then in Milan during the German occupation of northern and central Italy. The Banda Koch was a part of the Bande Nere (Black Bands), squads of Fascist militants established in November 1943 that assisted the SS and Fascist police in the roundups of Jews and the capture of anti-Fascist partisans. Koch operated his own prison and interrogation center in Rome in the Pensione Jaccarino. He was tried and executed in 1945. (en-US)
