Definizione

The Opera Nazionale Balilla (ONB) was created on April 3, 1926, to function as the youth wing of the Fascist movement in Italy. The ONB was comprised of three divisions: Balilla, for youths between the ages of eight to fifteen, Avanguardie for young adults between the ages of fifteen and eighteen, and Piccole Italiane for young girls. The ONB was supplanted in 1937 by the Gioventú Italiana del Littorio. (en-US)
