Definizione
During World War II the Danish Red Cross commission led by Dr. Frantz Hvass (of the Danish Foreign Ministry) and Dr. Juel Henningsen (of the Danish Department of Health) was granted permision to inspect Theresienstadt. The camp had been subject to "beautification" before the visit of Red Cross Delegates. After the war the Danish Red Cross compiled lists of Danes who had been incarcerated in concentration camps during World War II. (en-US)
