Definizione

Discriminatory laws and regulations based on race and/or ethnicity (including racial and ethnic segregation) enacted by various governments before, during, and after World War II. The racial segregation in the southern states of the United States from the end of the nineteenth century into the 1950's is an example of officially sanctioned segregation. (en-US)
