Definizione
The British Red Cross was established in 1870 as the British National Society for Aid to the Sick and Wounded in War, representing England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. In 1905 its named was changed to the British Red Cross Society with Queen Alexandra as the first president. (en-US)
