Yitzchak Rabin (1922-1995) An ardent labor Zionist, Rabin held many positions within the Israeli government over his long career-- Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff, Ambassador to the United States, and Prime Minister (twice, from 1974-1977 and 1992-1995).
