United States Holocaust Memorial Museum CercaDefinizione
Chartered by Congress in 1980, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum serves as America's national museum for the study of the Holocaust as well as a memorial to those murdered in the Holocaust. The museum, which opened its doors in 1993, offers permanent and special exhibitions, pursues research and publications, collects and preserves Holocaust artifacts, and distributes educational materials. In addition, the USHMM coordinates yearly commemorations of the Holocaust. (en-US)
