Definizione
Jewish rituals, traditions, and customs observed following a death. These include: preparation of the body, burial, eulogy, blessings over the deceased (including the Mourner's Kaddish and El Maleh Rachamim), kria (cutting of the clothing), se'udah havra'ah (the first meal after a funeral), shiva (seven days of mourning), shloshim (30 days of mourning), nihum and bikur avelim (comforting and visiting the mourners), setting of the tombstone, and Yahrzeit (the annual commemoration of a death).
