Used for discussions of Nazi concentration camps when the name of the camp was not provided. (en-US)
Definizione
German concentration camps were places in which people were incarcerated without regard to due process and the legal norms of arrest and detention. The extensive German camp system included, for example, concentration camps, death camps, forced labor camps, transit camps, civilian workers camps, re-education camps, police detention camps as well as subcamps and/or outlying commandos of camps. Note: this is a broader definition of the term "concentration camp" than the actual German (SS) system of classification. Former internment centers/camps that eventually fell under German authority are included in this category as well.
Used when the specific name of the camp was not provided or could not be established. (en-US)
