Definizione

German armed forces launched their invasion of France on May 10, 1940 as part of Fall Gelb (Operation Yellow), the invasion of Western Europe. Based on General von Manstein's plan the Germans were able to split the Allied forces and reach the coast with record speed. France surrendered on June 22, 1940. (en-US)
