Germany occupies all of Poland. In December 1941, a special penal code for Poles and Jews is adopted for the annexed territories. On December 7, 1941, the first camp using gas for killing begins operation at Chelmno. In the first half of 1942, the extermination camps Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka are established. The Warsaw Ghetto uprising takes place April 19 - May, 1943. (en-US)
